Signs a coworker likes you. What should I be looking for?

I am newly single, and there is a girl at work that I have had a huge crush on since before I met the last girl I dated. Now that I am single I want to ask her out, but since we work together I want to make sure she likes me first, so not to make it too awkward. What should I be looking for?

She knew I had a girlfriend, but I always got the feeling there was a connection there. Could be making it up. She knows I am single now, but also knows that my girlfriend is still living with me until she is able to move out. She seems a bit shy when it comes to sex and relationships, but isn't necessarily a really shy girl, I would just say conservative... What should I be looking for?

In any case wait with asking her out until your ex has moved out and some time has passed: the new girl doesn't want to feel like a homewrecker or a rebound.

It's difficult with coworkers since they're paid to spend time with you so you can easily get the wrong impression. She MIGHT like you if she comes to talk to you when it's not necessary, or with some flimsy excuse (again, easy to get the wrong impression), if she smiles at you a lot, laughs at your jokes, sit/stands close to you, shows open body language towards you, is nervous around you, treats you differently, etc... Then there's more obvious stuff like her playing with her hair in front of you and so on but she may not do those things even if she's madly in love with you.

In either case, wait until your ex girlfriend has moved out to ask the coworker out. Try to subtly start flirting with her, and if she responds well, once your ex is out, you can ask the coworker out!

I have a coworker crush too, thats reciprical cause he told me, and he has a girlfriend. He told me if he was not with her he'd be with me. It was flattering, made me want him and lose some respect for him at the same time. But our relationship is very flirty and we laugh and tease each other a lot. Hope that helps!

Well, I haven't done anything like that. I may flirt a bit, but nothing serious, just mostly teasing her a bit. Nothing that ever crossed the line. And I have never told her I liked her even though I have for a long time. When I have a girlfriend I take that very seriously.

It just seems like there is this chemistry between us. Out of all the people who work here, I feel like if she would date one it would be me. I don't even have her number though. But I could really see myself falling for her. Her personality and looks are just so my type. Plus she has one of the most amazing asses I have ever seen in my life... I just want to put my face in there. ;)
