Girls, how would you react if a crush called you short?

I've noticed that when a girl has a crush on me sometimes she'll get really flustered when I very lightly tease her, even if it's obvious I'm joking. I called a pretty average-height girl short (I'm 6'4 so basically everyone's short to me) and she got really defensive and pointed out that 5'5 is above the median height for women in the US. Girls, if your crush called you short, how would you react?

If my crush called me short I would laugh it off because I know they were just teasing an joking around. Its nothing serious. And I'm only 5'3ft anyway. hahaha Sounds like to me she didn't see it as you joking with her, next time maybe tell her, "Im just joking, I just wanted to make you laugh". Once she knows you were just trying to provoke a positive emotion in her maybe she won't be so defensive and she'll appreciate your intentions.

Well a lot of people call me short cause I'm 5'3" which by the way isn't even THAT short omg >:c it's pretty average in my opinion so people need to stop judging me by my height
Anyway as you may have already noticed, I bet pretty defensive about my height too LOL maybe that girl you're talking about is like me?

I get flustered when talking to my crush at all so any teasing is gonna make it worst.

I am short. 5ft so... Probably laugh it off...

On the other hand... I'm a red head and some guys like to get me upset. They think its funny to see me get a little angry.

Height is a sensitive topic with some people. With me I have been teased about my hight but I find it kind of funny. But some people want to be tall, if it seems to bother her don't bring it up again, because I know I don't like when someone brings in my personal flaws into a conversation. If you don't bring it up she'll be fine. My ex was taller than me so I got a lot of short jokes.

Ahahahaha I get this all the time from my guy friends and I'm only 5'4!
I find it absolutely hilarious and just pay them out for being freakishly tall. I'll use the 'average height' argument as well lol.

I'd be mad in a joking way where I roll my eyes and say Whatever after playfully pushing him.

I wouldn't be hurt unless he said it in a very rude demeaning way where it seems he wouldn't date me because I'm short

it depends how he says it but if it's in a cute, nice way then we'll usually blush and make a cheeky comment back but if it's in a mean or judgmental way then we'll get mad and start giving the cold shoulder.
