What are some good ways to compliment a woman on her intelligence and personality?

It is easy to compliment a women on her appearance because it is so easy to notice when she has changed something. Unless a situation arises it does not usually feel like the right time to compliment her on her mind and character.

Good luck. I tried that shit and only way to get a girl be genuinely happy about compliments if you act like a bad boy or be upfront but nice with it.

It's hard to explain cause you gotta compliment with a story behind it. You can't say I like the way you think. You got to emotionally and physically grab there attention on a level that is funny or out going but not creepy.

Example. " you can use this watermelon for a browl to eat your other fruits."

" you see that's what I'm talking about there, this girl is from harver university, that's how I like my women too."

She will disagree but it's not a closed ended comment. Like.

" your smart."
" thank you."

...

Gets awkward. You have to keep the ball rolling.

Yeah I noticed that you have to either keep it going or wait for a situation.
It is hard to not make it awkward after trying to flirt by complimenting her intelligence.

Its important you are not complementing her to get something from her, but you are complementing her because you truly feel that way... I know sounds like the same thing, but you don't want to convey things the feel like there is expectation of approval required. Just keep your mind right and it will help.

I'd much rather say..."I liked what you said in class the other day, where did you get that thought, it was very creative." or. You demonstrate an exceptional eye for color, you really have a gift there." or "why did you pick those shoes, its really stylish, you have a good eye for styles. do you spend a lot of time in magazines and fashion?".

something like that.

I get what your saying. I was just wondering because I have only really been complimenting her appearance. I was wondering if there was a non-situational compliment that I could give her sometime. So she does not just think that I'm after one thing if you know what I mean.

good idea. I think too many complements gets bad in general, much better to have conversation and dialog. think I said that before, it can feel manipulative, and like putting too much sugar on your cereal, tastes good, but too much.

Manipulative: imagine a girl approaches you and tells you have you are the best catch in the church... you are like, I feel so good, she might like me... then she says by the way I need sponsorship for the upcoming mission... and hands you a clip board. now you feel like she was just saying that to get something, it feels like a like, and you feel worse than when you started. That's the problem if there are no strings attached... and one of the strings is you wanting her to like you.

It's ok to complement, but I wouldn't over do it. It may be better to ask her what she thinks so it feels you are getting to know her, or ask her perspective on what women think about something... that way she doesn't feel pressure to be right, it is a general q.

Some things to say:
I like the way you think, it's interesting/different
You're very deep person
You're very smart

Or point something specific about her personality traits and say "so-and-so trait is very fun, interesting, nice, etc."
Of course you want to make sure those apply but usually simple things are good enough

Just do it directly. If you have noticed that her thinking is deep and sharp, then you can be direct at complimenting her.

Lol well I could comment that she is really thinking deeply about it when I ask her a question. In a social situation she takes a while to answer a random question. She is not slow she just needs more time because she thinks what she is going to say and then she thinks about how the other will react. But if you ask her a simple question with a definitive answer then she is quick to answer it.
