If a girl tries to make you jealous, is that a sign of worse things to come?

Well there is this girl who I am sure is trying to make me jealous make with her friend or well I don't know what the hell she is doing.

She seemed interested in me, but I know she wants to make make me jealous with some guy who I don't think its her bf, or else she wouldn't act that way. Well I was trying to talk to her I got the cold shouldered and then she threw herself to the guy hug him tightly (the guy looked surprised) I know she wanted to get me jealous.

What do you think? Is she dating material? I don't want to screw around.

maybe she wasn't trying to make you jealous, just trying to discourage you and make you quit. What reason does she have to make you feel jealous. Bottom line, if she likes you at all she wouldn't treat you that way. Hard to get? don't always assume this, go with what you know, she is ignoring you and doesn't care if you see her groping other guys. seems simple to me...maybe you want to believe she is trying to make you jealous but think this thru rationally.

Some girls like to make guys jealous to get their attention on purpose, so they don't seem easy and create the impression that she is followed by other guys as well. I would think if she wasn't interested in me she would talk to me normally like any classmate, like most normal people.

Buy why make the assumption that she is one of those girls that likes to play the jealousy game, I mean your not sure she is doing that. If your wrong and your pursue she will just feel awkward. If your right and play her game she's got you where she want you, under her control. If your right but don't play her game then she will have to adjust if she is at all interested. Just seems like a lot of drama. Your choice man.

I haven't really pursue her that is why I feel that she is acting strange. I am a very conservative guy (I have been hurt before) so I don't make a move unless I get a sign and she did give me signs before, so I go for a more relaxed kind of approach. I think you are right about the second part makes a lot of sense, I will take that advice, it seems like a lot of chaos. Thanks

I think so, yes. If you suspect she's playing games don't ignore the red flags. From my experience with my previous boyfrends those little things we ignore often turn out to be the cause of problems in the future.
