What do guys mean when they say we should hang out sometime?

So me and this guy haven't talked for a while and when we were talking he was always sending mixed signals. So he hit me up recently and asked what I I've been up to, and then said that we should hang out sometime. I told him sure and to tell me when he wanted to hang. He has not replied so I don't know what his intent is on.

I don't know if other guys have a different meaning when they say it, but when I say it, it means that I want to hangout sometime, either go out or just relax, be lazy, and hangout all day
