Approaching girls at the gym?

ladies, it happen to me a couple of times when I approach girls at a gym, and I introduce myself but they are not chatty; i only approach because they stare at me everytime im @the gym and feel a connection; . am i doing something wrong?

I don't know. Usually I'm all for flirting and stuff... just not at the gym... maybe outside when they're done? Most girls want to be able to work out without feeling like a dude is watching them. It might make them self concious.

Chicks generally don't feel very attractive at the gym so they generally aren't as comfortable at being approached by guys.

My take is, its the gym... its too predictable, they know your coming for them. So many guys, a couple of girls, its that attention that they seek but know when to end the attention if and when you might happened to approach them.

You are doing nothing wrong, just stare back at them when they stare you. and wait for their reaction.
