Why don't guys like me in high school?

I know this sounds super insecure but I don't know why guys don't like me. I'm new to school this year but I do band basketball xc track and show choir. i have lots of acquaintances but not many friends i see outside school.. besides the point guys to seem to like me. Girls ask if I'm talking to anyone all the time and say I should be and stuff but guys don't really seem to give me the time if day... I was just wondering why?

It sounds like your plenty involved and you seem like a nice person.

I was the same way in highschool... friends with everyone but best friends with nobody. I got voted as valedictorian but never went to any parties and stuff.

Anywho, I'd suggest that you just talk to a few people and get to know them better. if you start to like someone start flirting and drop a few hints. Maybe you could even mention a movie or event you want to go to but don't want to go alone or say that your friends ditched you and see if your crush might offer to take you.

You never know, maybe some guy does like you. He just may be really good at hiding it. Think of all the guys you've liked and crushed on from a distance but have never told... someone could be looking at you that exact same way.

If not though, it's okay. You're still in high school... you're going to meet many other guys throughout your whole life who are going to see how awesome you are and fall for you. And, of course, you could always start hitting on someone yourself ;-)
