Snapchat etiquette and flirting?

i've been going back and forth with this one guy on snap for about a week. before i go on, consider this about him: he has bad anxiety with social interaction and leaves people on "opened" often. i've learned to work with this. we don't have a streak. however, i snap him, he snaps me, and then there comes a point where he stops. so, the obvious thing to do, leave him on open once or twice. i fared well. it came to that we only volleyed once or twice in a day because i left him on open and came back later. it even got to the point where he was snapping me twice just to get my attention. now, he snapped me twice, i snapped him, twice. he left me on opened this time. now i'm verging on snapping him for the third time. the question is, do i wait a few hours, or not do it at all? keep in mind, that it's not clear whether or not we're flirting with each other. i'm trying to be as aloof as possible while still carrying his attention.

Holy shit. This is why I don't have social media. Your devoting too much attention to non personal interactions. It doesn't mean shit. Meeting in person is the way to actually know someone. Society's going down to leaving messages in opened lmao.
