Guys: if you went on vacation to another state and went partying with guys...would you be tempted?

I'm in California and he went on vacation with his family and took our little girl to go see family. I didn't go tho I didn't feel comfortable. he went out tonight with his cousins, and our daughter is with his mom, dad, uncle and aunt. they went to a house party and are all drinking... now thing is his cousins are 17 and 21...and they hang with girls who are so cute and pretty who are 16-18. my boyfriend is 21 and we have been together 3 years...I'm just afraid he will get drunk and hook up with a girl or flirt...i mean they are so young and beautiful and I am an old hag it seems. but he has never cheated on me before only hugged girls...

now guys, if you went outta state and there was hot young girls at a party you were at...and you had a girlfriend...would you flirt and hook up because your girl would more than likely never find out? or would you stay true to her? HONEST! don't sugar coat crap! thanks

The reason why guys and people cheat is universal.

He/she thought the value of cheating was greater than the value of him/her.

Most guys however want their cake and eat it too, meaning that he may like you a lot but he loves the idea of having more than one girl. The only way men don't cheat is if they value the woman more than the idea of cheating.

Which means that the problem isn't with the person that's cheating, rather its the person being cheated on.

If that person was a little more fun, a little more interesting and the cheater actually valued the person a- lot, and more than the idea of cheating, there would be no problems.

So to answer your question, I would be tempted, that's natural. However, depending on how much I was in love with my current girlfriend I may or may not cheat.

Personally I would only cheat if I was going to break it off with her anyways, and I hadn't got around to it yet, for whatever reason.

Keep in mind though its much easier for a woman to cheat than it is for a man. A woman simply has to lay down on a chair and point to her crotch and say "any takers?" and a slew of men will probably wait in line.

I don't think thered be many women doing that if a guy tried that same thing, even if you looked like brad pitt.

So keep that in mind, its not easy for a man to cheat comparatively speaking.

Also, you shouldn't have that much to worry about, you already have pretty high value since you are physically attractive.

Granted you are a bit older, but typically guys don't start caring about that until about 30-35 years of age.

There are a few things women can do to make it a near impossibility that a man will ever cheat on you. but I've said enough already.

My personal secret to being happy in a relationship:

I trust my partner to do what she wants. It's not my responsibility to "keep" her in the relationship. If she decides she'll be happier leaving, or cheating, then I can't stop her.

All I can do is ask myself what I want, and act accordingly.

Maybe this sounds too simple or stupid, but I just don't see how worrying about my partner cheating accomplishes anything.

Would anyone be more tempted to do something if they know they wouldn't get caught? Suppose that's true of cheating in a relationship or running a red light. Doesn't mean you'll always do it, though. Us guys can't respond to this question knowingly, because it all depends on the individual guy and what he's thinking/feeling. Sorry, but just can't provide much insight on your man.

As for my approach, I've been in the same relationship for 12 years now, so too simple or stupid an approach or not, it's worked so far.

If I was in a commited relationship, no, I would not cheat on her because I only honestly do not believe in cheating. I might flirt with the girls because of the alcohol, but that's as far as it goes.
