We hung out a bit on a college trip and really hit it off. I want to follow him on instagram but I don't know if that'd he weird considering we have nobody in common on instagram.

He never even mentioned his last name, but I knew his first name. I had to do a little searching to find his account.

Would that be weird?

Nah, we follow whomever, even celebrities or strangers lol few even fall in love too. It may be weird like how deep you went searching or could be cool you went searching for him, could go either way
