I started dating a girl a few months back, she works as a bartender and has a lot of customers she meets at the bar. One guy specifically is a flirty outgoing guy. He is married and has a kid. He admits to not having a great relationship with his wife. He definitely comes off as a guy that cheats on his wife.

My girlfriend has his number in her phone and he texts her from time to time (that I know of)

This doesn't sit well with me. She says she loves me and I am what she wants, but then why would she associate with a guy who comes off as a douche bag.

The guy also has made comments about me while I wasn't around at the bar, calling me gay and blah blah blah. My girlfriend has told me about this. She still texts him.

I think you already know the answer to the question but just need some type of comfirmation from everyone here. Truth is she says she loves you, but I'm sure if you were exchanging numbers with an unhappy married lady she'd have the same issues. She may not have done or will do anything, but the fact is you have a married man who's not happy and he's looking for a sh*t load more than just texting buddies. So here's a guy that talks bad about the man that she loves (she says) and she still continues to talk to him. She's clearly playing a game with both you and him. The game is only powerful enough if you allow it. Not sure what you have invested in the relationship, but do you really want to have someone in your life that gives so much potential in hurting you and challenging your trust? She either grows up and or you move on. If she doesn't change and you stay...you've lost your bitching rights.

Because she is a homewrecking slut. Some women get off on being able to steal other women's husbands, it makes them feel good about themselves. It is not about the guy at all, it is all about geting one over another girl, which is sick. If a woman ever tries to get your when your married, run the other way because she is only trying to hurt your girlfriend to make herself feel better. And that should bother you, not just because she is being cruel to your girl, but also because she is using you.

look I wouldn't trust your girlfriend, and she is very dumb and immature to talk to someone that is disrespecting you and she claims she loves you...i think she is talking to him for attention and she likes him...and I'm sure if you looked into your phone you would see texts from him and texts she has sent out with things that single people would say if she smart she deletes the texts. check it out you may find what your looking for

The thing is she was friends with him before she met me. So its a little difficult. I know she likes attention but I just am worried it might be more. I know she spends most of her free time with me. But its the times she isn't with me I worry about. The problem is I don't want to go through her phone... I think that's disrespectful...
