If he’s taking hours to respond then there’s a good chance he’s either 1) talking to other girls or 2) just not that into you. If a guy is into you, he’ll want to talk to you all the time. When my fiancé and I were dating, he would never take more than 15 minutes to respond to me. And the whole “he’s busy” excuse is bullshit. We make time for things and people that are important to us. So if he’s taking hours to respond to you, you’re probably not much of a priority to him. And as a girl with a lot of guy friends, I know how guys are. They’ll be on a date with one girl and then, once the date is over, go back to texting the girl they were talking to before. So yeah, he’s “busy” alright.

So I would just say don’t get too invested with this guy. Date around and see who else is out there.

It's hard to tell.
I'm seeing 2 guys and both are sooooooo slow to respond!
It made me crazy in the beginning!
The 1st one takes 2 or 3 hours to respond to my texts.
The 2nd one sometimes takes hours and even days (!!!) to respond.
Now I am used to it and don't care anymore.
I am still seeing them and we still meet and have dates and both are interested in me.
They just suck at responding in a timely matter.

How long is for ever? Men do not take texting as serious as women do, but that does not mean they don't care about you at all. Dont confuse the two. Remember you are a woman, you don't have the same thinking as a man. "Oh I'm interested so I'm gonna text back fast" just because he doesn't does not mean he isn't interested. Relax on getting tripped over the texting part and see how he is in person. Later on in the relationship you can let him know it bothers you. My ex was on my nuts about texting back fast and i literally tried my hardest but she was never happy.
