I miss her texting me?

This is going to sound really dumb, but it's there nonetheless. I'm feeling sad because a girl who I used to talk to a lot doesn't contact me anymore. We used to hang out and stuff and joke around all the time and when we didn't see each other in person we'd text.

But we went our separate ways several months ago because we no longer went to the same college.

I tried getting back in touch with her, but she basically blew me off.

It's been 3 months since we've last had contact. I'm feeling really sad over this and I know she's not worth it. But is there a way I can get rid of this feeling?

Did you date her or something? Or was she just a friend of yours, nothing sexual between you two? I mean, if she was just a friend, you could try sending her a text saying hi and asking how she has been doing. I'm sure she'll appreciate it and respond and if she doesn't, her loss. Go find another text partner. There are many fish in the sea. Good luck! ;) Oh and as far as getting rid of the sad feeling, I would just say it takes time. Distract yourself with things and meet new people and do what makes you happy in life and it will help you feel better.

You were a convenient friend for a while. If she was a REAL friend, you'd still BE friends. She has found another guy - perhaps one she is more romantically interested in who is taking up her time now. Sometimes we don't get who we want and keep moving on. Don't take it personally... don't be sad. FIND A NEW TEXT PARTNER. She's out there.. GO LOOK. Who knows.. she may be even a better texting partner than the last one. Don't limit yourself. Well, I hadn't talked to her in months so I texted since I wasn't sure how she'd respond....that's what we usually did anyway.

Yeah, start talking to other girls and your gonna forget all about her. In fact, when I was single, I would talk to tons of girls and if one blew me off, big deal. I am already talking to tons and I am gonna meet some more.

Also, I think this is a attractive quality for a guy, but it makes you way less needy compare to a guy who is only talking to one girl.
