So, she sent me this after she told me she had messaged this guy she's sort of dating at the moment. I say sort of dating cause he's a douche, that seems to be controlling her and messing with her head at the moment. I was just confused as to why she would say "don't hate me "

Followed up with a statement that makes you regret your previous answer.

nah i won't cause i do genuinely care for her , but she doesn't help herself either. She'll say things like she's going to "mute " this guy, or just vents a lot about him, but doesn't do anything about it.
