Is prolonged eye contact a sign of attraction?

Do guys give prolonged eye contact to girls they like? Or to an unattractive girl or are they daydreaming about the person? What goes through a guy's mind when he does that what is he trying to accomplish. Does he want his crush attention to notice him? Or what should the girl do if he does that but doesn't approach?

Yes, prolonged eye contact does indicate attraction.

It's a good question and the answer is "YES" or most likely " YES".

NO or highly unlikely.

That is tough to answer, it's a subjective thing. One of the reasons could be that he is just trying to enjoy the woman's beauty from a distance.

If a guy is doing this with the intention of his crush noticing him, then it's clear that his intentions are only to make his crush jealous on purpose.

Well if the girl finds the guy attractive and likes him as well, then she can take the first step and approach him. I don't know by saying hi and introducing herself and offering friendship to begin with and then taking things forward.

I've never held eye contact with a girl I'm interested in. If she catches me looking I'm gonna look away right quick to try and avoid awkwardness xD

That may just be me but usually I think prolonged eye contact means something different. Some other reason I think is usually behind it.

Yes but most guys are too shy for that. We'll usually just stare at a girl we like for a few seconds until she catches us staring then suddenly look down and away then check her out again 10 seconds later lol... and repeat continuously until we get an awkward boner in public 😂😂

Prolonged eye contact can be a sign that the guy is attracted to you.

It can also be a sign that the guy is creepy, socially maladjusted, and/or stalking you.

Or, it can be a sign that the guy is lost in thought, and doesn't even realize he's looking at you.

It might be a sign that you have a really odd-looking bug on your forehead.

Prolonged eye contact is a hopeful sign, yes, but please don't jump to conclusions.

Prolonged eye contact does equal attraction, I usually try to make eye contact just long enough until she notices before looking aways. But I still will keep looking back. Just long enough until I send out a smile for her to see

I'm immature. I don't know how to gain female attention. I play eye tag. Girls don't play they just look out of curiosity. I look with the intention of her maybe taking interest and giving a sign per say that says i can approach and whisper in her ear about making a more permanent connection. It doesn't work and leads to nothing but confusion. If he's just looking then like myself he's a waste of time. Find someone who is about you. Not just looking.

Definitely a sign of attraction. If he doesn't approach you, he may lack confidence that youl
like him and fears being rejected. Give him a smile and a wave next time he makes eye contact. Hopefully that will encourage him to approach you.

100% prolonged eye contact is a for sure sign they like you. As long as it's prolonged and not like 3 seconds. If the girl starts conversation first after that she can literally do anything at that point
