Why are German men escaping from Turkish girls?

I went to Germany for a short time. Whenever a German is i said "I am a Turk," the Germans escape me. Even if I say I'm not religious. Why?

Because germany is (I think?) the country apart from turkey that contains the largest number of turkish people, and they do shit like this:

European countries don’t like people that disrespect/try to change/don’t adapt to their culture. That’s exactly what most turkish people in Europe do. They don’t adapt. Same goes for the netherlands, turkish people here don’t adapt either. They speak turkish, only befriend other turks, marry only turks, they basically cling to their own culture and build a small turkey in countries where the freedom and insurance is provided. People don’t like that.

Hence, you are associated with this stereotype and a lot of folk will avoid you or be disinterested. It’s a shame, but sorta understandable. (Though it’s our own fault).

I live in Germany and live next to a family where the father is German and the mother Turkish, so it does happen sometimes.

Ethnic Germans and Turks still usually don't socialize with each other, and Turksish identity is especially strong among Turks here, plus German guys often don't feel comfortable with a Turkish girlfriend or wife because familial structures and social circles are different. As you can imagine, German guys also aren't too enthused about the idea of learning Turkish to socialize with Turks. Many of the Turkish women together with German guys are divorced from a Turkish guy.

because turkish people in germany have a very bad reputation. we don't have anythign against the turkish the turkish that live here tend to be pretty bad on average... by looking at you, we can't see if you're from turkey or just another of those german turks, which we have those negative associations with.

Well obviously they aren't comfortable with the over conservative families Turks have. Speaking from a personal experience, no one wants that family drama shit they got when things are so much more easier with a European girl.

Why do you even make a topic out of it? I'm from germany and know some turkish people who are actually really cool but we never made a topic about where they come from. Just behave normal like if you would talk to another turkish guy. There shouldn't be a problem.
