This' my hypothesis. I'm a traditional person yet with genre equalitarian perspective. And even when I'd like to be more of an "initiator" with men I like, give, etc. I think they enjoy the illusion of "feeling" they are purely the givers. It may be that some men enjoy feeling "powerful" protective and dominant. And even when I stand for an equal relation with a guy, I'm rephrasing a bit how to act and conduct with men, since I'm observing they enjoy "giving"...

I don't believe in give for give like what most guys believe. I don't believe if a man pays for dinner, then he should receive a blowjob or something. I believe that you should do something with the sole purpose of just wanting to do it. Like cooking... If I cook for you I don't expect you to cook for me, but you yourself should have a giving personality and want to cook for me sometimes too as well. If I go down on her I just did it because I wanted to and nothing more. But if it's just 'give give give', then it leaves something to be desired. Equality is neccessary to sustain a relationship.
