I really like this guy and sometimes he uses slang I don’t really understand, (English is not my first language). The other day during a conversation he called me “shorty” or “shawty”. I was confused by this because I am 5’8, I am not short in any way really. My friends tell me it’s his way of flirting but I don’t understand? Did he call me this cause he likes me? I personally have not heard him call anybody else shorty, ( but I’m really paying attention) so what does this mean? Am I overthinking it? As a male, if you were to call a female shawty/shorty what would your intentions be behind it? American flirtation is very new to me 😅😅😅
