No, they tend to ignore me. It's hard to have a conversation with someone who is short with you, even if they don't mean anything bad by it. I feel more at ease with calmer or even quiet girls, but I have noticed over time that I might be starting to feel uncomfortable around quiet girls a little more than before. I don't know what they are thinking, it seems like they don't appreciate or want me talking to them, I think that I'm bothering them, etc. so it makes it really hard to talk to them...especially if they are pretty. That just adds a whole new layer to it all.

And this is weird for me to say all of this, because I'm a somewhat reserved person myself.

It's not that I ignore them. It's just that it's hard for me to approach a girl who doesn't give me any signs that she's interested in me, which is the case for most guys I think. There is a girl in one of my classes who was probably the cutest girl in the class (which is saying a lot) but she didn't really talk much so I thought she was just kind of stuck up but I got put in a group project with her and she's really nice, just doesn't talk much in large groups.

Try making eye contact and smiling at guys you like so they will be encouraged to talk to you.

nah I dont, if I see a quiet girl I go talk to her, I mean I try to talk to her to see if I can get her to relax a little I mean, I love making people laugh so I just try to get them to laugh, loosen up a little bit, and if they are just really quiet I ask them about themselves, being quiet is not a bad thing at all, better to be a little quiet than not be who you are, in my experience, quiet girls always have something interesting to say

That depends on the vibe she gives off. I always say that there are two types of shy girls: the endearingly awkward type and the "I hate humans" type.

If you look like you're going to bite anyone who gets too close, you're obviously not gonna be approached.

However, the type of girl that wants to socialize but is too nervous to actually makes me more confident, and more likely to approach her. In fact, that's the sorta girl I look out for.

I would date a pretty girl if I knew she was quiet. Although, I do think that the relationship wouldn't last long. The reason for that is because I'm quiet too. I think the relationship would be boring. I've never dated a quiet girl. But I would definitely give the girl a chance. Maybe she will surprise me.

Yes.

Not to be mean. But it goes like this, no one approached me when I was quiet. And when I say approach, I don't just mean to be approached for dates, but for simple conversation. So, like those before me, I see no point if all I see is a shell. It's not my job to help you get out of your head, so I won't even try.

But take comfort in the fact that someone else will and you'll be alright. :)

In my opinion quiet girls really are usually like 10x more attractive, they're definitely not ignored by me. It's hard for me to approach a quiet girl though... I almost feel like I'd be bothering her.

I love quiet girls so much. Or well, I should say introverted girls. Like, a girl I can laugh with and talk to in private. I'm pretty quiet myself and don't like people that talk too much.
