When you see a man and a woman together, do you just assume they are a couple?

My sister and I are really good friends and do a lot of things together, I'm wondering if people that see us together automatically assume we are a couple. Is that the conclusion you automatically come to when you see a man and a woman together?

I wouldn't assume you were a couple unless you were doing things like holding hands, kissing, a lot of touching e.g arms, legs.

Besides, who really cares what it looks like? if you and your sister have fun it doesn't matter.

Well the reason I care, is because I am single, and I don't want to miss out on any potential connections with that I may happen to meet when I am out with my sister, but thanks for the answer.

Yeah you have to be a little more than just together for me to assume that there is anything more than a conversation going on.

I wouldn't assume that unless you were kissing holding hands etc. or if you go out to eat together or the movies

Well then people might get the idea that your on a date but I say who cares. You can hit on girl while you are with your sister
