+1 yI think you should create a poll asking the guys on here how many of them doubt or even disbelieve women who make this claim.
Unfortunately, it wouldn't be scientific, and you run the risk of men trolling the survey, but I do believe that, over time, assuming more than a few men answer it, the results would show that the vast majority of men do believe the claim or believe it but recognize that some small percentage of women making the claim are for whatever reason, lying.
As for myself, I think 9 out of 10 women are telling the truth, either as a matter of fact, or as a matter of honest belief about who attacked them. What I mean by that is that false identifications on the part of a victim of sexual assault can and do happen, but a majority of them are made as sincere mistakes, or can be the result of the power of suggestion.21 Reply- +1 y
I wholeheartedly agree with you. I'd say it's probably about 50/50 on this site since so many guys on here are just angry trolls. I also poll the guys I work with and they tend to give much more sane and logical answers
I might do that, but I'm already dealing with too many of these trolls right now. I have to staggar how many controversial questions and takes I post at a time or they blow up my inbox and "Ain't nobody got time for that"

+1 yThe only thing that surprises me is that anyone is surprised at this in the first place! Of course it happens, and it surely doesn't take a genius to figure that out.
Now what actually may be harder to believe, I'm a guy and I've been groped too. As you can see, yes I am overweight. I got bullied in the bus quite a few times in high school, including being groped, or rather "scooped" by other guys.13 Reply- +1 y
I know what you're talking about. I've seen guys grope other guys' man boobs before while making fun of them. That's unfortunate it happened to you, but the best revenge us to get in great shape and make them jealous (like the guy who played Neville Longbottom)

I mean, I don't really care anymore. I transferred high schools, went to college, and am now working toward my life goals. I haven't seen these guys in years and I'm perfectly okay with that.
- +1 y
But yes you are right in that I do need to get back in shape...
+1 yI’ve had this happen many times too. Most of the time it’s happened at work. I work at a restaurant that also has two bars (upstairs and downstairs) so on game nights all the men are there drinking and watching some game. I’ve had heaps of guys my age and guys like twice my age put their hands on my butt, side of my thighs, my back and my arms. It’s disgusting. Even after I’d tell them to not touch me, they just smile and do it again. My boss doesn’t do anything about it because it brings him more customers (male customers)
213 Reply- +1 y
That's horrible. People always tell me I could make good tips, but I refuse to put up with that bad behavior. Are you allowed to retaliate against them? I don't think it's legal for an employer to allow that
- +1 y
So you're 18 years old, isn't that the required age to serve alcohol. Did you take bartending courses and get your certificate right after turning 18 years old. Or are you just a server at bar who is not allowed to serve alcohol?
- +1 y
@Idonthaveausername we’re not allowed to retaliate because we’ll most likely get fired. If was able to, I’d punch them. I also can’t get fired because I get paid well and I need the money. Finding a job and the good hours I have is really hard.
- +1 y
@BlackParade 18 is the legal age to serve alcohol. I had taken a bar course through my school last year and then in January this year (two months after my 18th) I had gotten my certificate. What has that got to do with anything though?
- +1 y
That sucks. I hope you can find better work in the future
- +1 y
I agree horrible svr.
Masogeny is around and denying makes nothing better. Your situation in particular I have the reverse in a milder case. Terrible service from a waitress who is young and attractive who thinks that touching my arm or back and batting her eyes at me will make me forget that she screwed up my order and forgot my drink. Not the same thing but my brother and I always say I'll take the old overweight server anytime, they never assume I'm going to fall all over myself drooling to get their attention, and give me good service. - +1 y
Just looking for job options. Sp you're high school offers bartending courses. Cool. Had no idea they even did that.
- +1 y
Cause I'm a busser at a restuarant. Plan on moving in at some point as a part time job. I'm sure bartending pays more. Right?
- +1 y
How diffiuclt was the course?
- +1 y
@BlackParade bartending is good money and you get big tips. The course wasn’t too bad, fairly easy. I don’t plan on doing this forever. This is just easy money for while I’m in high school.
- +1 y
Yea that's my plan as well. In terms of getting hired. How easy is it? I'm pretty sure a large factor is looks. I'm not the prettiest boy 😂🤔
- +1 y
I can’t tell you how easy it is because we probably live it completely different parts of the world so I wouldn’t know how desperate or not your area is for a bartender. Where I live, we have breweries everywhere and so it’s a bit easy to get hired. But like I said, I don’t know your area and what the job opportunities are like there. If you have a careers department at school, ask them for advice and help. If you don’t have a careers station at school then you need to start printing out your CV and giving it to companies. Go in to some companies to ask if they have work for you and if not then leave your CV with them anyway.

Holy fuck. How many cocktail recipes do you have to memorize?
+1 yI voted no, but then remembered I have been. It was my old boss who touched my ass, but I guess that’s more work place harassment; especially since he always made comments or talked about my legs and butt bc I workout.
I don’t think public groping happens here as much, we don’t have that catcalling culture or less women than men (I only heard that’s why it happens in Asian countries lol could be wrong) but it probably does happen still.41 Reply- +1 y

Yes, and its always my ass that they grab. So once i slapped the guy across his face (it was an automatic reaction, and a well deserved one too), another time this guy keot saying i needed to let him bend me over and let him show me what an ass like mine can do and he kept trying to grab it.. 😎.. So when he actually did, i turned around so fast slammed him against the wall with my arm shoved into his adams apple amd my knee in his groin while i had his hand bent so far back if he tried to move it would have snapped, and i told him that if he said one more time that i needed to let him bend me over, then I was going to bend HIM over and show HIM what HIS ass could do! He was soo scared, and he kept apologizing. Lol. After that, my friend bought me pepper spray to carry on me. Another time, a GIRL came up behind me and grabbed my ass pulling me in to her and tried kissing my neck.. She got a head butt into her face and shoved me forward because she was so mad. Lololol. My best friend as a teenager taught me how to protect myself and its something i think ALL females should learn. I also think males shoukd learn how to RESTRAIN a woman so as not to HIT her of she gets dumb and attacks him or if she is a creepy pervert and gropes him.
17 Reply- +1 y
Do you mean far more likely for men to be attacked by women or men to be attacked by men more than women are to be attacked by men? because if you're talking about men being attacked by men thats more likely to happen then I would have to ask where you are from. if you are talking about it's more likely for men to be attacked by women then I think that maybe you need to start looking for women in a different place (?) Lol. I don't know very many women who will attack their man for no reason. Don't get me wrong women do attacked man but it's usually because they've gotten her to a point of such emotional distress that she can't take it anymore in which case there's always signs that are shown and that gives the man a chance to get himself in a position to restrain a woman as opposed to hitting her in self-defense or whatever other excuse has been used.
- +1 y
Okay way my apologies I just now read your message and I don't know if I'm the one who ordered it incorrectly but I'm saying the same thing as you kind of men need to learn how to restrain a woman should she attack him as opposed to using self defense and hitting a woman saying what she came at me like a man so she needs to be handled like a man that's what I'm saying
- +1 y
But either way the question was about being groped in public and I mean I don't go to bars and clubs I never have so I really can't say whether or not women grope men all the time but I know that statistically it's more likely for a man to do it to a woman than the other way around
- +1 y
I was saying that in public men are far more likely to be attacked by men than women are and therefore the point I was making was men need to be trained on how to protect themselves I believe as a priority to learning how to restrain women who decide to attack them. I agree that with women men need to show restraint unless they are in serious danger but ultimately if a woman decides to attack someone, she cannot expect the person she is attacking to hold back because she should be physically weaker
To all of the innocent women:
one girlfriend punched me to ask me out.
One sat in the booth next to me and started pushing on me and hitting me to ask me out.
A woman in a bar just grabbed my crotch to go out, just like that.
One (a waitress) threw my food at me to ask me out.
Another in a bar just grabbed my shirt to kiss me.
One blocked the door on a restroom in a dive to get my attention.
One just walked up to me on a dock and took my hand and led me off…
Oh yeah one just grabbed my arm while walking by in a bar..
I will remember more..
I don’t grope or do any of this to women, so who are you lecturing?30 Reply
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yYes, first time when it happened to me I was 11.
I was too scared and confused to do anything, so I let it slide.
Then next time when I was groped I was 15.
I don't know what's worse. The fact that guys feel like they can freely grope women, or that most of them pray on children (since I turned 16 I haven't experienced this).16 Reply- +1 y
That is horrible and I hope they didn't do anything worse to you. Pedophiles are the worst
Opinion Owner+1 yI consider myself lucky in both instances due to where and who did it (at 11 it was in a crowded tramp and I have reached my destination before anything worse happened and at 15 it was a classmate who groped me, so easier to defend).
Opinion Owner+1 y@VIVANT I had the same issue, by 10 I had the body size (5'4") and proportion of a grown woman (I was at the upper end of the normal BMI range tho, so that added some extra).
But nowadays people have a hard time believing me when I tell them I'm 18, they think I am 14-15 years old, 16 on a good day. 😂
Opinion Owner+1 y@VIVANT we should feel lucky, at 40 we will look 25. 😂
In my late teens (when dinosaurs walked the earth) I was a healthier shape than I am now and I got felt up by girls a few times.
The first time was very arousing as I hadn't had a girlfriend at that point, but my appreciation wore off very quickly.
It's actually sexual assault. By the time I was 18 I had several friends of both genders that had confided in me about being raped, abused or both. After the first friend came to me I developed a zero tolerance for it in either gender.
I will step in to stop a guy groping a girl. I've been threatened by guys more than once for doing so. I'll be father to a son in a few weeks, and I want to raise him to be a real gentleman13 Reply- +1 y
Thanks :)
These days guys get taught by society that a "real" man behaves a certain way even more than we did when I was a teenager.
I was blessed that I grew up with a strong father and two strong grandfathers. As a result I had it taught from year zero that character is what matters, not personality.
Mum's dad was an army officer who was part of the D-day landings in 1944 - one of the few who got through the initial few hours uninjured. Her mother's brothers were pilots. They were real men's men.
Dad's dad was a Salvation Army officer. He was rejected for the army because he was a minister of religion, and he regretted not being able to serve.
Another man's man.
My dad was a teacher, but he had the heart of a warrior.
All the men I grew up with were men of character.
I was a dancer, a ballet dancer. A 180lb ballet dancer. A straight, male, teenage, 180lb ballet dancer.
Character was pretty important to me.
yes. men have grabbed by ass on many occasions and a man reached under my romper and attempted to finger me from behind when we were in a crowd of people.

That's because more guys have voted. I usually wait until polls have around 70-80 votes before determining anything
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yand for all the women who think only guys are creeps and do this sort of thing... yes I have been groped many times by women/girls. When will we stop "blaming men" and start blaming "people"? Both genders are obviously guilty of this a lot. No ladies, it's NOT okay for you to grab my tight ass, my arms, my chest, feel my abs just because I have the body of a Greek god and it makes you horny. Hands to yourself please. And it makes me sick when I see guys do that to girls. Too many people think that because they like something they have the right to touch it.

+1 yI have a long history of it unfortunately. I went through being molested at 7 by an older cousin. One of the times he didn't care to wait til everyone was gone and he did it in front of his little brother. As an adult, most times it's usually in settings like bars and nightclubs. Guys will walk past and pretend that they can't get past just to grab my ass. Girls can also get handsy when too much alcohol is involved. I've had a few boob squeezes happen.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yIt has happened quite a few times. Most have happened at bars.
This one time at a concert but I believed the guy when he said it was an accident. He was drunk and about to fall right next to me, I leaned towards him to catch him before he fell face first, and his arms went out at the same time to catch the fall, his hand ended up on my boob. But once he realized, he took his hand off and turned red. Kept apologizing.03 Reply- +1 y
Yes, in certain environments, stuff happens that's no one's fault. I've been to many concerts where people were crowd surfing, and since I don't love being in the pit, I tended to be more on the edge of the crowd. As a result, a lot of the crowd surfers - male and female - ended up getting shoved near me and either I'd grab them or they'd literally fall to the floor.
In a few cases, some girl would get thrown towards me and I'd grab her so she didn't hit the floor head/neck first, and I'd end up grabbing her boob as I caught her (keep in mind sometimes you have about half a second to react). Not only did no girl ever complain, almost every one thanked me for grabbing her so she didn't fall. It's not like I was intentionally grabbing for boobs or anything, but in a wild crowd, things happen quickly and you have to react and take action or people get hurt (and I've seen plenty of people get hurt!).
Opinion Owner+1 yI was about to say this too! I’ve crowed surfed at concerts and when I was about to fall, I have luckily been caught. And a few guys did accidentally grab my boob but I know it wasn’t intentional.
- +1 y
Exactly. In other examples, I've had female friends/acquaintances who were kind of klutzy and tended to walk into things or fall. I remember one time a group of people were walking down the street together, and this girl turned around to talk to someone, stepped off the curb, somehow tripped herself, and was falling backwards right at a fire hydrant. She was flailing her arms so I could only grab her around her torso - and got two handfuls of boob. I kept her from falling back-first into the hydrant, which would have been VERY bad - and she never said a word about me grabbing her boobs, because it obviously wasn't done on purpose - there's no way I could have planned that in the split second I had to react. So, yeah, things happen sometimes. but it's not always intentional.
+1 yBut I'd like to express my sincere concern for you; perhaps yiu need to distance yourself from certain areas and social crowds? These men sound like pathetic creepy little perverts.
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why feminists hate men so much. They see this and only this. Partly because if you actively hate and speak against something constantly, you attract it.04 Reply- +1 y
Well, I can't see why they couldn't notice... Perhaps they simply wouldn't?

It couldn't be further from the truth. You are wrong and it is no more appropriate for attractive people to grope others than it is for unattractive. Most girls I know don't like it either way or care what a guy looks like. If you look at the results, the majority of peopled don't like being groped in general

When clubbing it depends how severe. If it's just a touch nothing much. If it's really harassment then I get really mad and ask for backup from male friends.
At the subway I asked for help from a man sitting nearby.
On my bike, I hit his hand away, got mad. Then he threatened to rape me and then I biked away as fast as possible (I was about 15 and these guys were as well).
