Do guys ever really get over their crushes?

Do they ever really forget about her, even is she hurt him? We were friends, but I didn't feel the same way. Will he get over the crush or will this be forever?

He will always remember. The ability of ignoration depends on the circumstances. I for one easily have come to ignore (I am not wiling to use the word "forgive" because forgiveness is a lie. You can only overlook/ignore things.) one occasion after about a year (before that I was full of hatred and everything though) and another I just don't ever want to see her again. So it's varied :)

...But I usually notice that I find people physically attractive most often if they look similar to my former crushes. It's ridiculous...

That really depends on a lot of things. I'm going to be honest and say that the few women friends I have confessed to having feelings for and then been rejected by I found it impossible to remain friends with, one woman it was her fault and the other it was all in my own head but I still couldn't be friends with her anymore.

I would yes,guys can get over it.I think it depends on the circumstances involved though. That may just decipher how quickly they get over you or stay stuck on you.

Yes, but often it takes years.
