Do guys ever get over the crush they were never able to talk to?

But not always the way people think.

You don’t “get over” the person , you get over the idea of them. The fantasy fades once life moves forward and real connections happen.

Sometimes what lingers isn’t love. It’s curiosity. The “what if.”

And with time, even that softens.

Well, I suppose most guys can but, I've always had a great memory and, because I'm a romantic (for lack of the correct "ist"word), I wonder, from time to time, how they're doing, where their lives have taken them, what they're up to, these days, etc..

As for life it moves on & as for a crush the only way to get over a crush is to find a new crush. YES guys can get over a crush.

Yes, it takes a while, but he'll get there. That kind of crush is usually a teenage thing. Part of being an adult is learning to not waste your time on people that aren't interested in you. You give it a shot and if she's not interested, you move on. I didn't get there till I was about 21.

in short i think the vast majority of guys do eventually get over a crush... it certainly isn't healthy to not get over a crush

It's never happened to me. I've always talked to them. I had a crush on a couple girls I didn't even know their language and I talked to them.
