Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yThey go in a room at the back of the brain. They keep coming back in relevant contexts. But they never exit any rear door. And I do not mean an everyday crush that happened for 10 minutes one day. I am talking about the one that were in sight or mind for an extended period.

Asker+1 yI think this guy might have liked me, not sure, but I don't know if I was a 10 minute crush or something more.
Opinion Owner+1 yJust remember that we are "guys". We have the potential to have multipe crushes at the same time. Some stick, some don't. But repetitive/recurring ones have a bigger chance of sticking. :)
Opinion Owner+1 yThank you for the MHO. I hope that whoever falls for you, does not do so for just a 10 min or 10 day crush but with the intention of a long term loving and trusting relationship. All the best.

Depends.
Tiny crush maybe.
But no guy will ever forget his "summit girl".
That is the girl who all girls will be compared to from then on.15 Reply
Asker+1 yI doubt I'm his 'summit girl' as I never dated him and don't know him that well.
When I saw him a long time later on he was looking at me sort of reserved, but he was looking at me without breaking eye contact

Depends how that "crush" treats us... I forgot most of mine. I remember a few.. like Tracy Abbott from the 3rd grade; she was my first Valentine. We lost touch after grade school. I wonder what ever happened to her..
10 Replydepending on the strength of the crush, I've had crushes on people that i don't even think about anymore, but there is one that was huge, and i still think about her on occasion.

It's about the same guy.
I posted it recently.

Asker+1 yThanks! :)
I noticed you said he was definitely an asshole, but I don't understnd why he did what he did. Plus what was with walking so close to my chair, did he just want attention?
I asked him about it months later, and he was like all, "What? When?" So I thought he forgot. When I briefly explained he was like, "I think you have the wrong person," and offered me a brief explanation.
He sounded so sincere that I actually believed he forgot now I'm not so sure.
Do you think he realized that I might like him if I asked him about it months later?
I don't understand why he did that, I used to think highly fo him before he did
Asker+1 yI agree, he wanted to sound innocent makes sense.
But why? Does he think I like him? Does he like me?
Asshole he is for sure which is an unfortunate reality. I just don't understand him
Asker+1 yBut he isn't a total asshole. I don't know him too well, but the little I did have to work with him he was fine. Didn't think he was an asshole at all. Suddenly this is so odd.
Asker+1 yWhen I asked him about it, he denied it, I agree it was because he wanted to sound innocent or didn't want me to make a big deal about it. I should have understood this from the fact that he replied at all.
I told him upfront that it hurt me, and now I wonder if he thought I like him or something. It's so hard for me to understand why he would want to hurt me like that.
Asker+1 yI didn't tell him, I thought he might already know because I told him it hurt me etc.
Would you think that if a girl told you point blank something you did upset her?
Actually to be truthful, I would be hurt even if I didn't like the guy. It's coincidental that I did sort of like this one
Asker+1 yDo you think he already knows?
I had the conversation where I told him he hurt me a while ago. I haven't heard from him since then. All I know is he seems to have stayed away from girls
Asker+1 yI thought part of the reason he acted like that in the first place is because he suspected I might like him.
Asker+1 yWhat if he laughs at me, or tells all his friends=I'm a laughingstock?
For some reason I feel like deep down inside this guy does like me. He's just either too insecure to show it, or he doesn't see me often so he doesn't think about me that much.
I sometimes feel like he's one of those guys who just wants to hold the girl and be there for her.
Could all just be in my head though, because I like the guy and want to believe what I want to believe
Asker+1 yHave you ever looked at someone and just known that there's something there?
That's what I felt when I looked at him. In fact I almost suspected he would come back and act loud. I just thought acting loud would be him bragging about making the football team not trying to put ME down.
My background's pretty conservative. Never liked cheap guys you know what I mean, one who looks at a lot of women, or is unfaithful etc.
For some reason I feel like this guy wouldn't be... cheap I mean. But then I don't know what he meant with acting like that if it was almost like cat calling or what the hell was going on his mind.
Asker+1 yI forgot to add one pretty crucial detail: I'm brown.
What if he was actually trying to give me a complex about my looks because he's racist?
I remember when I was like really young I liked this guy but was mad at him about something so I tried picking on him about his looks. I wonder if this is a similar situation.
I think... I'm not ever going to contact this guy unless I see him

Asker+1 ySo if a guy likes you even a little, he'll remember you?
- +1 y
I can't speak for every guy out there, but if I like someone then there's very little chance I'll forget them.
Asker+1 yWhen the guy saw me, I guess from my face he felt confused if I liked him. He looked at the ground lost in thought, then just kept staring at me. Later he came back and was acting out for attention.
I asked him about it months later and I couldn't tell from his reaction if eh was lying to me or he really forgot.
It made me feel sad. Like I was so unimportant he just forgot about me
- +1 y
Sometimes guys can be forgetful. It's not like he intentionally forgot about having a crush on you, assuming he did in the first place. Either way I wouldn't get too hung up about it. There's plenty of fish in the sea, and there will be lots of guys who will crush on you down the road.
Asker+1 yI know he was attracted to me.
I've caught him staring at my stomach (thankfully was wearing a tank top), once when I was standing by myself with a dress and tights, I caught him staring at me (he immediately looked away). Stuff like that, a long time ago.
I just never knew if he had an actual crush as in liked me.
The problem with someone like me is when I crush, I crush hard. It's hard for me to forget about a guy if I've liked him.
small ones yes and big ones no never.

Asker+1 ySmall oens, if they 'forget' do they just forget the girl or forget about her as in move on from her?
Asker+1 yThis guy forgot me in a matter of months. I couldn't tell if he was lying to me or he really truly forgot
Asker+1 yBecause he's my crush.
And I still like him. But when I realized there's a possibility he forgot, I decided not to tell him.
Asker+1 yAt the time he had a girlfriend.
I guess now he's single, but I don't know where he's at. I mean how can a guy just forget I must be very unimportant to him :(
Asker+1 yBasically what happened, is I saw him completely freaked out bevause he was there live in person, and looked away praying to God that he would GO AWAY.
He looked like he was just staring at me trying to figure out exactly what was going on.
He came back and was acting loud in a totally disrespectful way with his friend like he was mocking me. It got louder and louder (I assumed it wa sjust boys being assholes as I looked horrible that day, exam time does that to me).
When I looked up to my surprise it was that guy and I was like whoa. He wouldn't look at me, but he walked by really close to my chair despite my obvious discomfort, smelled, realized I smelled awful and then mumbled something to himself out loud. Then he went away.
Asker+1 yI was so embarrassed especially because I hadn't seen him in so long and wanted to look really pretty for him if/when I did see him.
I finally confronted him, and he was like all I think you have the wrong person etc. No idea if he lied to me or actually forgot but I took it as he doesn't really think of me much so I tried to move on.
And I did move on, except I occasionally still wonder about him.
Asker+1 yWhoa why is he an asshole? Did he really lie to me?
Asker+1 yBut he sounded really sincere. Hence I thought maybe months later he forgot.
Do you think what he did crossed a line? At the time i felt terrible, but later on I thought he wanted attention and chose the worst possible way to get it.
I kind of really like this guy for some reason. It really breaks my heart a little to think he lied to me
Asker+1 yDoes he know I like him?
I know you said I should forget about him, but I like him enough to actually forget about what he did IF it be true that he did like me
Asker+1 yI do have self respect, but for some reason this guy doesn't seem like the enemy.
I don't understand why he did what he did. Did he just want attention or did he want to hurt me?
When I asked him about it I didn't realize doing so might make him think I like him which I don't know. I didn't want him to find out
