Someone hit my driver side mirror and now it's hanging by the wires?

I found a special Automotive glue that says it binds Plastic, metal etc. and says its safe on cars, its called Perma Oxy, Epoxy glue. Is it OK if I use the glue to put the mirror back?

If the glue ends up not working will it make the problem any worse for a mechanic?

Nope, he'll just replace the whole mirror and outer casing. I've got 3 perfectly glued mirrors by the way. My driving on the other hand is far from perfect. JK.

haha 3? what kind of glue did you use? I currently have it rigged with electrical tape haha

Some kind of auto repair glue (no joke) you can get at an auto repair store like Kragan and Orilys.

Just make sure you wear gloves so you don't glue yourself to the car.

The whole mirror fell off, or just the reflective part. If you use glue around wiring, it won't hurt because they are cased anyway.

No. Because you aren't messing with any mechanical or electrical. Glue is a substance that would just leave a residue, it wouldn't necessarily complicate any work being done to your car.
