Skiing/snowboarding date? good idea?

so there's this girl...we're not dating but we're close...

I was thinking of taking her skiing or snowboarding. is this a good idea?

I don't think she's ever gone, so I thought it would be fun, and romantic...for example, waiting up for her and stuff, teach her how to snowboard, give her tips, cuddle her if she's cold. I think it could be cute.. it would be romantic going in for the kiss on top of the mountain

I think that is a perfect idea!

You have to be extremely patient with her though. If she has never gone before she will probably be nervous and skiing/snowboarding can be quite the challenge if you have never done it before.

But if she sees that you are making an effort and holding her hand the whole way she will see that you are being patient.

On the other hand, I went snowboarding for the first time ever with my boyfriend of about 3 months, and I was getting very frustrated because I couldn't plow properly and kept falling on my face. So as long as you wipe the snow off her face, and maybe take her inside for hot chocolate if she is having trouble it should turn out just how you want it ;)

I think it's a great idea. I remember that once my boyfriend made me a huge surprise by inviting me to his relatives to Carpathians. We booked a cottage on
and spent there 5 days. It was awesome and so fun. I must say that a joint activity only made us closer.

That is a really good idea. My first date with my boyfriend was going snowboarding. We had so much fun and your not under pressure of having to keep a conversation going all the time but at the same time you are getting to know each other. He taught be some stuff, and it was a really romantic fun day:-)
