Why do girls flirt with boys to get attention, or just cuz they’re bored?

Now let me be clear, I’m not saying guys don’t do this at all either. Both genders do this. I’m honestly just quite curious why some girls will flirt with guys because they’re “bored.” To me, that’s just building up a guy’s confidence and then shattering it after only a few days. It’s kinda rude, if you ask me.

girls do it bc its just fun. also they like the attention and reaction they get out from the guy which boosts their confidence.

usually guys enjoy it too? i can see how it would upset a guy tho if he was rlly into that girl and he didn't get her snap or # or something at the end.
