What about you?
Do you enjoy double entendres?
What about you?
Being a single girl, I do not enjoy them at all since they have most of the time a sexual connotation.
It seems that people are afraid to tell what they really mean and need to use those sentences with double meaning in an attempt to get access to the girl or the other gender.
It only shows that people really have nothing but sex in mind and are not able to hold a decent conversation without hinting at something sexual, even to those that are not interested in hearing them or worse, children and minors.
It is just plain a lack of respect towards those that would prefer to use correct vocabulary or are not into sexual game plays.
Furthermore, I wonder if those expressions used in the presence of minors could not be considered as sexual harassment and possibly even a hint of pedophilia.
I think I will go over my law books and see what article of law those double entendre infringe.
Of course it's something only to be used with romantic partners, and not random people.
And obviously it's done in private.
@Erikus12 I'm not sure
@Erikus12 not trolling at all.
Just my 2 feet well planted on the floor and checking all legal implementation that kind of double meaning can have when people don't pay attention how they express themselves in presence of minors.
Since no conditions were given in the question, I always assume the worst case scenario. In all my replies. Go ahead and check them if you wish.
I thought it was obvious it's something done between romantic partners in private.
@Erikus12 I don't think she meant that.
I think you should perhaps go once to a primary school, college or university again, see and witness by yourself how (mostly) guys use those phrases with double meanings.
And you will find them in all classes of society and in all events where 2 or more people meet and have "fun". That is unfortunately the sad truth.
I could give you numerous examples where at a party the conversation degenerated, even in the presence of children and those were subjected to this type of talks.
People don't even realize it anymore. It has become so common to sexualize every topic of conversation.
@Erikus12 Again, I don't think she meant to attack me.
@Erikus12 I don't think that's what happened.
@Erikus12 You can tell me in all honesty that when you are together with male friends of yours, having a few too many beers and want to impress girls, you don't use those sentences with double meaning?
Please, be honest and if you can tell me that you have never witnessed guys (or girls) talking like that, then I apologize for my statement.
You, at age 42 have probably witnessed more of those than I ever did but you cannot tell me that people do not use those outside their bedroom.
If you watch (or have watched) any stand up comedy in the past 20 years, you are confronted with them since they are the base of that type of entertainment.
@Erikus12 Really?
@Erikus12 Make yourself a favor and read the part of my reply again
"... those expressions used in the presence of minors could not be considered as sexual harassment and possibly even a hint of pedophilia"
I am not implying that the asker is a pedophile but merely stating that those expressions spoken in the presence of children could be regarded as pedophilia. That is a big difference, no?
@Erikus12 That's really uncalled for.
@Erikus12 What does that mean?
@Erikus12 I see that a normal conversation with you seems futile. You have your ideas well anchored.
I am sorry that this conversation took that turn.
I never intended to call anyone a pedophile but only make you aware of all possible implications that such conversations may have in the presence of children.
@Erikus12 What's that supposed to mean? Now you are starting to pissing me off.
@Erikus12 And you want me to believe that you never laughed at those type of jokes? That you did not find the one or other interesting or that you walked away when they were told?
How would your reaction have been if a child wanted to know what you were laughing at because the child did not understand? Would you have said that it is nothing important or only for adults?
Now assume that one person would tell the child the real meaning of that joke with double sense.
What would you think of that person? How would you qualify him/her?
@Erikus12 That's it, I think you really overstayed your welcome.
Yous was one of the most complete, reasoned and thoughtful answers, so of course it was going to be MHO.
Again, I'm sorry that someone had to intervene so rudely and without civility.
True I noticed.
I admit I put this question IRL to my girlfriend and my older sister and they both answered they like them.
Although my girlfriend's opinion could be slightly biased since she already makes lots of double entendres and puns, and tells me to not "go queer on her" if I get embarrassed.
I never hit her nor ever will, even if she hits me sometimes.
Yessss I do.
I love speaking "in code" with double entendres!
Thanks for MHO!
Yes I do. My girlfriend is a expert at them.

If you really like double entendres and your fluent in English try the 'Carry On' series of films, be warned though the if your are 'politically correct' these films will offend your sensibilities because they are not 'politically correct' in any way shape or form.
A couple of my favorite songs are double entendres both by The Who. Squeezebox and Love Rein Oer Me. Check them out
I almost never use them. I am very straightforward and forthcoming
Flirting and Double entendres are not my strong points
Yes! It’s one of the things I have done here and nobody has ever caught it!
If you want a double entendre, I'd be more than happy to give you one...
Simples...
For sure both my fiancée and myself are super kinky
Not sure what you mean. Can you give me one?
Example - My girlfriend smokes a lot and I complain about it.
Our banter:
Me - "You should smoke less, you are always with a cigarette in your mouth"
Her - "Yeah because you'd rather put something else in my mouth..."
And we both laugh.
Yes , used in banter !!
At some level of friendship
Uhm... Double what?
Double entendres - they are subtle sexual innuendos.
Yess lol
Yes I do too
Of course.
Love them
Cool
What's the mean
They are subtle sexual innuendos and jokes.
I'm not a plumber, but I know how to lay pipe...
Oh I see
