What does it mean when a girl asks if you have feelings for her?

I liked this girl for 4 years. She asked me one night after drinking if I had feelings for her, and she told me that she wanted to talk to me about it before but, felt I was avoiding it. But I told her I do and when I asked her if she had feelings back. She said she didn't. But the weird thing is we started texting and talking more. Making plans to hang out more. When we hang out or talk on the phone, She uses her cute voice and when I'm with her we walk fairly close even sometimes colliding. I took an opportunity to touch her hand and put my hand on top of her hand when she was holding my umbrella like a cane. She didn't move her hand at all. I guess my question is do all women hide their true feelings from guys? until they are sure?

I've been trying to figure out if we are friends... or were more than to be honest. The whole hand test pretty much shocked me that she didn't pull away.

Keep pushing the boundaries and trying to escalate. Try kissing her, etc... If she won't kiss you, then she is just using you (even if she does not realize it). She has you to meet her emotional needs, while she gets to sleep with other guys.

Best of both worlds for her, worst situation for you. You like her, it has been 4 years, make her decide she either wants you, or wants to lose you. Do not stay stuck in this situation with women, it only prolongs your suffering, and you finding someone that will be with you.

The instant you know you like a girl like that, being "friends" is not an option.

a lot of women have had broken hearts in the past and learn from their mistakes to not give their heart away so easily...may be she's just afraid to admit her feelings but wants you to fight for her before she announces it
