Okay, I met this Japanese girl who is new to the college, and we were talking about Japanese things. I was telling her about what Americans think about Japan, and the subject of maid outfits came up. Maid costumes are very sexualized in Japan, and can be somewhat of an aphrodisiac.
We talked about them for a little while, and she said that she has a costume back home. She then said that she could get her parents to send it over so she could give it to me to give to my girlfriend.
The problem is that I don't have a girlfriend, and never mentioned one before.
I'm thinking that she was probing to see if I was open or not, without openly saying she was attracted to me.
We have known each other for a couple weeks, and have spent a bunch of time together. Much of the time spent together has been driving her around and shopping, because she doesn't have a car.
So, do you know if she was trying to get anywhere with me by talking about my girlfriend before bringing her up? (I don't have a girlfriend, obviously.)
