OK so there's this girl I really like. We just started becoming pretty good friends a few months ago. I started falling for her and kinda showed it by flirting and what not. But then she started to give off this "not interested" vibe. At first I was mad but then I realized I would rather be good friends than nothing at all. But once I stopped flirting with her as much, she started flirting with me again. WTF is up with that?!?

I don't understand, it's almost as if she only wants my attention and nothing more. I don't know if this is some kind of game but it's really getting to me.

I know...it's really hard to read or understand what she's doing sometimes but you just have to figure out what YOU WANT. Don't let her grab you by the balls and let her have you whenever she likes.

She may like you man, and wants you to chase her. That's why she ignored you when you started reciprocating. She now wanted you to chase her so she's not the one looking all clingy and needy. If that's the case then sure, try to set up some time on the weekend to hangout and get together (if you look at her as girlfriend material) A LOT of girls are just wired to to that.

But you also need to pay attention to the other course of action she could be doing. She could be doing this just for the attention. GIRLS LOVE ATTENTION...and she very well could be part of the attention whore club. She may not be looking for a relationship, but likes to be really flirtatious. She may like to fool around and just be a flirt and think she's the boss.

Yea uhhh, if she's like that, DUMP HER RIGHT OUT OF YOUR LIFE. Don't mess with girls like that. You have so much better things you could be doing than getting played around with by some girl.

Put your guard up man, if you think she's right go for it. If not, then don't play along with her immature mind games.

So many girls are like that, they like attention more than anything. Stop flirting and they'll try to lead you on so you give them attention, keep ignoring them and they get pissed at you. If you want them to throw themselves at you, you act super nice but not flirty at all, it drives them crazy because they think you don't find them attractive. Works every time.

oh my god I did the same thing with this boy .. not that I'm a bitch or anything but this is proabably what is going on ... At first when you show interest in her she proabbly had her eye on someone else maybe.. and than she may have realized , she acutually likes you ..so she'll show interest that's what happended to me ... so what you do is kinda not show as much interest ..it drives me crazy and than eventually she will fess up to liking you ..trust me I just finsished texting someone that I finally told I liked for sure... give it a try and seee ... But BE CAREFULL ..BECAUSE SOME GIRLS ARE A LITTLE SLIMY AND MAY just like the attention because welll lets just say most girls like atttention ...

Sometimes a girl really isn't interested in anything more than friendship to start, especially if she's still getting to know you (I speak from experience!) When I first got the feeling my coworker was flirting with me, I didn't reciprocate because I really hadn't warmed up to him yet - I wanted to get to know him as a friend first (additionally, he had some crazy drama going on with an ex at the time; wasn't going to touch that with a ten foot pole). It took me a while to really take a shining to him and really start flirting back.

And how old is the girl? Maybe you're her first real crush and doesn't know how to act or showher feelings. Just have a serious conversation and show tell her your genuine feelings for her. She probably thinks she's got to play games cause that is what everyone else does.

When someone knows you like them and just wants your attention as if you are both in the third grade, but nothing else, its extremely frustrating. This girl calls me, text me, calls me, text me and then when I want to go out with her, she enjoys saying NO!
