What would make a girl not like you anymore?

I have this fear, maybe it's irrational, that this girl I've been dating may not like me as much as she did before. So I ask you all what could cause a girl to lose interest in you.

I've been a perfect gentleman, I tease her somethings but she knows I'm playing. We've gone on two dates and the most we've done is held hands. We don't contact each other as much as I'd like to :( but that's because she never initiates anything and I don't want to be the guy texting her constantly and smothering her. So I text every two days or so, and call to set up dates.

I just worry because I'm starting to like her a lot, and I know she's liked me for a while too. But not too long ago it was one-sided on her side, trying to get me to like her. And now that I am starting to like her, if she were to lose interest I would be devastated.

So what should I do to make her stay interested in me (while still being myself), and how should I show her that she's special to me so she feels loved and won't lose interest in me.

LOL... I loose interest when the guy gets too clingy... doesn't sound like you are doing that so just keep doing what you are doing... some girls JUST LIKE GUYS like the challenge... once they got you they jet! lol talking from exp.. sounds ugly but I used to do that a lot back in the day... Karma is a B that's prob why I can't get into a stable healthy relationship... that or I just don't want to work for it.. :) I'm kidding... anyway back to you... let her do some of the work... let her contact you from time to time... I'm sure if you go a while without texting she will begin to wonder what happend... so finally when she does get at you play hard to get a little don't be so eager to get back... how long have ya'll been dating/talking... keep it going a little longer so you can find out what her intentions are.. ask her but don't be persistant about it... I don't know if she will be honest with you because most girls sugar coat things... if she is sugar coating... RUN! she's a LIAR and can't deal with the truth... sad but true.. or she's stringing you along. Good Luck

it seems like you have some insecurity issues to deal with. if you constantly worry that the relationship is going to fail, you will set yourself up for failure = the relationship will fail. Practice trust.

also, a girl could lose interest possibly because she thinks she may not be good enough for you... another insecurity issue. unfortunately we girls let it get the best of us sometimes. I can't tell you from personal experience, but I have talked with my friends who feel this way towards certain guys. It is very sad. it's all about the journey of being a secure and confident individual and believing that God is who says He is and living your life with respect to the truths in the Bible.

umm..idk..i will be completely turned off if a guy doesn't have morals..and id like him to have some of my morals in common...and the way a man will act in a relationship..i know that I am turned off by guys acting like manwhores..looking at other women intrusively and always talking about how good or yummy they look. if he is that interested in her then he must not be in me. ya know? that's my take on it anyway..just my opinion...there are other things..but those are the big ones...idk finding out a man has slept with a lot of women...finding out he has kids...or he's into drugs or drinking badly...etc

don't listen to girls, they always say what they dream about or what sounds good, but not what is true in real life. Your girl is playing game already, you have to stay strong and not become weak (aka too sweet). If she sees you would be "devastated" as you say, it'd be the end of it. Girls respect strong men and are turned on by them, not wimps. Stop texting her. Either she is interested and she'll text you, or she's not and you'll stop wasting your time.

If you are boring. Be spontaneous and do things that you wouldn't typically do. Also you need to be in contact more so she doesn't forget about you

Do something really romantic to show how much you care, and you were right not to text her too much, because girls really hate clingy guys. Make a date a day to remember and you might do more then just hold hands... ;)
