Why would a girl who is mature and together act childish and bratty around me?

She only acts like that around me, its like we are always teasing each other and getting into little arguments and just doing things that may come off as infantile but its so fun and we both enjoy it. She usually tells me I'm immature and should act like an adult but she acts childish too, and if I ask her why is she being like that she says stuff like "because I'm allowed to" or something its like she just enjoys scolding me lol. Bear in mind we are only like that around each other.

Yeah she probably has a thing for you. I'm totally like this. Usually I'm pulled together and mature but around guys that I like I just get silly because I actually love joking around. Plus, given that I'm usually kind of unapproachable/intimidating (as this girl might be?) I try to minimize this by appearing the opposite and one way to do this is by saying/doing bratty things and then saying "because I can." That's literally a line out of my mouth last week when the guy I have a thing for was trying to rescue me from a spider and I was screaming to high heaven. He said "you're such a wimp" and I replied "so what? I'm allowed" So yeah, most likely, she's into you ;)
