when a guy doesn't call right away, I don't think he's really into me. The longer it takes for a guy to call, the less seriously I take him. But I've never been into playing games and phone tag.

This summer two guys kept texting me.they were anoying. And they kept texting me.LOL This put them into the L O S E R box. I actually asked them to stop texting me and told them a call was not necessary. Usually guys are intimidated by me, but ask for my number anyway. Mostly, the guys with a lot of confidence call me the same day. The punks text me and ask me to send a picture. Guys, this is not an attractive atribute. Calling a girl the next day is a good thing.

Here are a few simple rules:

1. Call when you say you are going to call if you really are interested.

2. Don't text message a girl to death without calling sometime.

3. If you say 'hi this is Jim, I met you at the party' and the girl says 'who?' She may not be so interested in you because she didn't remember your name.

4. The more time that passes (over 3 days) the less seriously she will take you.

5. Don't keep calling her if she didn't return your call. If she's interested she will call you back.

Hope this helps since this is from a womans perspective.with women remember the rules change by the second LOL! but there are a few things we just don't like.

3. Guys who send sexy pic messages before a few phone calls.

4. Death by Texting. It's annoying as hell!

Thank you for saying this because guys do exactly what we hate.. GUys are crazy now and days. txt you over and over again when you haven't replied back. Call you from different numbers to ask why haven't we been answering. And We hate Annoying GUYS!!! I hope all GUYs look at kickrocklosers comment...

Girls are so stupid and have all these different rules for guys to follow and hoops to jump through. If a girl gives me her number, and I like her, I will text or call her that day. Am I desperate? Not even close. Am I a creep? Absolutely not But if she wants me to wait a certain number of days, the she can keep her number. You can't stick cake in front of a fat person and tell them they can't eat it. If a guy is interested, then he should call whenever is good for him. Not after or before a number of days. That's ridiculous. Girls need to stop making stupid rules and follow stupid rules from dating books that don't mean anything.

It depends. Sometimes the guy just doesn't call. I agree with the first guy that rules are stupid. I agree with the second guy that the rule is 2 or 3 days. Then there are guys who forget and are like, man, I meant to call her a week ago. If that happens, they probably figure that calling you that late is probably a good way to get chewed out, and they're probably right. Then there are guys who either change their mind, or were never going to call you in the first place. I'd say, as a rule, If you don't hear back in 3 days, move on. If he doesn't call you, somebody else will.

The rule is 2 days and only to set up a date, nothing more, I don't talk to girls that I like on the phone right away, I go out with them first and get to know them face to face and after that if the date went well and I call a couple days after to set up a second date sometimes they call me, it just depends on what kind of first impression you give the girl on the date. First dates can be a death sentence to some and the beginning of a relationship to others, it all depends on how you act on the date.
