Guys, Averting eyes and holding eye contact?

There is a man with whom we make eye contact whenever we come across (in the crowd).
Sometimes i catch him staring at me, then he averts his eyes quickly with smiling. But when i look at him then he holds my eye contact. What's the difference?

At first he is checking you out while you are not aware of it, but then you catch him, so he looks away embarassed, knowing he was csught.

He later glances back and catches you now looking at back him, and now holds rye contact, assuming you are interested.

thank you🙂 whenever i look at him, he replies with eye lock (kind of a mixture of pleasure and fear). He looks confident. But when i catch him he averts his head really quickly downwards with a little bit smile. Can you explain please, why?

Yes these are signs that he finds you attractive, and the little bit of smile indicates that he knows you seen him looking at you.

This guy likes you, he most likely thinks your beautiful snd can't help but look at you.
