Liking someone that you don't know very well?

Is it possible to like someone or even be in love with someone that you don't know? as in you've hardly ever talked to them, you don't see them very often?

How would you go about trying to get in touch with this person then?

to be honest. I think it depends on how well you know this person. I personally like this kid.. not a kid. im in highschool, but i dunno... I really suggest knowing or getting to know him more before actually claiming u like a certain someone. Maybe its just lust? perhaps? rules of attraction. I hate being this way. Im usually not like this. But its cute how we exchange glimpses sometimes and im sure we both are fully aware. We just really dont want to own up and actually start an "open open conversation" , we both are still in like "oh hey, how are you, hows it going," or even maybe a small flirting kind of way. I don't know what hit me but its not healthy. (not healthy to be inlove?) not like that. its just the idea of "lusting". Its not real love to me. I just hope this "crushing" will either fade away or keep going.

Well I like this guy at Uni like reallllllly like him. I see him every other day because we are in the same college but yet we never, not once talked to each other. But I donno I have feelings for him like a get butterflies sort of a thing.

And I guess maybe like come an ask me something thn we'll start like smiling and saying hey and then slowly get to know each other :)

it is possible to like someone you don't know, but as for love, I'd say that's only when you know someone. strong attraction is possible with people you don't know though.

You could ask them out if you feel bold, or try and start a conversation when you do see them and maybe start to get to know them.

yeah, you can feel the emotion of love for anything, just look at all the people obsessing over celebs like they are god, when in reality you would not want to hang out with most of them if they were not rich or famous, and even if they were sometimes

like him is possible due ti physical attraction or initial impression. fall in love is only when we spend enough time with them then we understand them more

Sure it's possible to like someone you don't really know, you could just like what youve seen so far. As far as love, no, it's more likely to be lust.
