Do hickies put a guy off a girl?

I like the responses where the guys are talking about getting one from a girl they don't care for. If I don't care for someone they cannot get close enough to me to give me a hickey, lol.

I personally don't like having a hickey or giving them because I think it looks trashy but my fiance and I accidentally give them to each other. I think inside a relationship the random hickey is not a big thing, but if you are not in a relationship, it could go either way. Certainly if a guy is up to no good he won't want a hickey as evidence that another girl will see.

I really don't understand why people think hickies are so horrible and stupid... there's nothing wrong with it if you just do it to people who you really like. If you're intimate enough to have a hickey that means you got to kiss the skin of your lover and I love that. I think they're cute... and hot too, kind of bad boy stuff. I love giving them and getting them, although it's not nice when your parents see it! ;D

My guy and I have the same opinion about hickies, lol. We both like giving them, and getting them, but it's kind of a pain in the ass when they're visible. It's kind of like, showing off that you're 'getting some', which is stupid, haha. The occasional one will pop up on one of our necks on accident if we get a little over-eager and don't think about it. But generally we restrict hickies to under clothes areas.

no and yes, depends all on the guy looking at her. Although the guys don't admit it, knowing a chick is getting some is a turn on because lots of guys are very naive and have very prudish mental projections onto all girls. Seeing a sign that a girl is getting some breaks that bullsh*t image.

Some guys will go for you more cause of it, and others are going to be repelled cause they want that prudish girl who has never been touched etc...

Yeah it's not really cool if he didn't ask because then you get home and BAM, surprise. People judge chicks big time for that sort of thing, arguably more than men, so it's a problem if it's right on the neck or something. If elsewhere where it's not visible unless I'm super not into guy (why would he be giving me one to begin with?) it's not really that big a deal.
