Do girls ever take back clingy guys?

My girlfriend dumped me for being too clingy after being with each other for 2 months, she never told me that my affection was an issue and when she broke up with me she just said she didn't feel the same anymore. Her best friend was the one who told me I was too clingy.

I don't NEED her in my life I just WANT her in my life, I really cared about her and its been a month since the break-up and she hasn't tried to contact me, I just miss her. Why is she doing this, she told me she really wanted to be friends still, should I try talk to her, tell her that I've changed

I think clingy people need to find other clingy people or people who like clingy(I see a lot of guys on here actually who want a clingy girl that it makes them feel loved I'm not sure women are the same way I think it makes women feel a bit smothered). it's not necessarily a bad thing to be that way but when the other person doesn't feel that same driving desire that you do then it's an uncomfortable feeling when someone is that attached to you. So she might like you but not THAT much. That's what she means that she doesn't feel the same and don't you want to be with a girl who feels the same way? I would it's always nice when someone is on the same page as you and you aren't feeling like you like them more than they like you or you need them more than they need you.

it was only 2 months. I know how attached you can get after 2 months, especially guys(its proven they fall for a girl harder then the girl does for the guy), but really if she doesn't want to be with you very much then she's not worth your time. I love it when my guy acts clingy, it makes me feel wanted and special, so you should go find that girl who REALLY wants to be with you. I'm sure she was really pretty or hot or whatever but there are other pretty girls out there more worthy of the time you're willing to invest.

I wouldn't, they're bothersome and I guess maybe because of that I wasn't into them. They're way too much for me...it's overwhelming that it becomes tiring.

You come across as SO weak and needy, that she didn't even take the risk of telling you that to your face. She was probably afraid you'd melt down and have a scene. Instead she let her friend do the dirty work.

You are STILL to clingy and too needy. Nothing has changed. If you try to tell her that you've changed, she MIGHT believe you (I doubt it thought) but once she got back with you, she'd find out VERY VERY quickly that you were lying to her. And then she'd be gone again, and you'd have absolutely no way to say "Trust me, I've changed!" again at some point in the future.

don't tell her. show her. NC is fine. But when she initiates contact, then you reply sometimes. once in a while call her back. be busy. don't just pretend or act. actually go out and do stuff. hang with your mates. date other girls. make sure she sees you with other girls. work hard at your job or school. hit the gym. play sports and get at least 1 other hobby. get new trendy clothes. wear a blazer if you have to and cool shoes. get a fashionable haircut. be happy. when she sees this she will want you back. then don't mess up your second chance.

Duud, after 2 months? Usually the rule of thumb for guys are 1 and a half time as long recovery as the time you where together before you are "functioning" close to what you where before hand. Clingy is never good...It's one thing to care, another to obsess. Play it cool...Show the ladies you think they are special, but be patient... Us guys like to get a girl to commit in some form or the other in a very short time span...This is usually a remedy to make them run for the hills.
