Lets say a good girl is seeing a bad guy. She has her life together, a career, she does not sleep around with a bunch of guys, doesn't do drugs. And she's seeing a bad guy who sleeps around, smokes all day, and works a minimum wage job. Is it common for these guys to place such a good girl who is basically out of their league on the back burner. Like they don't want to lose her because they know she's a good girl but they are just not ready to commit

Some times a good guys dates a bad girl cause they can not fine good girl and when they do the good girls get mad that they where with a bad girl. If this good girl is dating a bad guy, then no good guy is going to touch her. A good guy won't mess with a girl in a relationship, especially with a bad guy. It's HER job to end her bad relationship and to remain single for a while and heal from her trauma. If she doesn't, she'll just end up leaving the good guy for another bad guy.
You're working on the things you place value in as a girl. Most guys for example don't place a ton of value on the girls occupation.
