Have no idea of how to pick up women?

Well as the title says. This is very embarrassing especially at my age, that I can't figure women out. I say I can't figure them out in terms of what type of hints they drop, what they really mean when they say something. I tend to be the person who view's things as "Black and White," and have a hard time catching on to the "Gray area," maybe until moments to days later. In addition, I tend to be off to myself and won't say much other then "Hello," "How are you?", "How's your day" and so forth (yes I am very boring, which I have been told by my family members). I tend to go to the same places that I am familiar with, and don't really explore my surroundings. With all that said I have a hard time really getting and keeping Woman's attention, much less getting closer in terms of a relationship, sex, and so forth. I am get some tips/pointers as to figure out how to get better, without getting myself into hot water with women (slapped, cussed out, and etc.). Thanks in advance.

Well, the first tip I have for you is to not look at women as some alien species. They are human, just like you. Yes, there do tend to be some social/cultural differences in what women expect vs men in dating, but they're not impossible to figure out. Overthinking the differences is going to lead to doubt and insecurity, both of which are unattractive to many women. Start by introducing yourself to women you're interested in, and if conversation is flowing well and you see they're comfortable with you, you can ask them if they want your number.
