More details will help. If it's a person you met a few days ago, a simple "Hello, how are you doing today?" will tell you if she is interested or not.

That's a great start then. Talk like you would talk to her face to face. Stay away from stuff like the weather and other generic talk. Tell her a few jokes (easy to search some via text, don't over do it!)
