Hello, I'm 19 and in the Air Force. I slid in these girls DMs a while back and I ended up texting, we ended up having a lot of things in common. We both like Disney and horror movies. I'm not going to lie I'm starting to catch some feelings for her, but today I texted her how her week was and she left me on seen. I wasn't mad because I looked at her story and she was at her grandfather's funeral and looking at her posts, it looks like her grandfather meant a lot to her. So, I understand why she left me on seen and I thought about sending this response to her a couple of days later. I've been thinking about and I'm leaning don't send it, but there's a part of me that says I should send it.
Hey, it’s hard to be there for people who ignore you but sometimes it’s their response mechanism. I think you should send it to show that you care and she will most likely respond to this if she has feelings for you. I don’t think it would hurt if you try, what do you have to lose right?

She did respond to it. She said thank you and liked my message. Well I did only message her for the first time 10 days ago
Have you ever seen this person on Facetime or some other video, because this is a favorite catfish ploy, to get your shoulder to cry on when none of it is probably true?
