+1 y------------Guys can be loyal if they flirt with other girls as long as the other girls say NO. What if they say YES to his flirting? So what is the common denominator here? The action of flirting. So if he is flirting then he as already been disloyal in his mind he is just now waiting on a YES.

+1 yDepends on your definition of loyal. What does he bring to you and if he stops is that disloyalty? Most guys can completely disassociate sex from feelings and still only care fore one woman while banging many others. So the big question is again if he still only lives and cares about you, his money only goes to you, he lives with you, he protects you, he supports you 100%… is he still disloyal?
Men bring many things outside fidelity that women value meanwhile men solely look for fidelity from women. So while it might not be right I argue a man’s still loyal even if he cheats if he’s devoted to you and a woman cannot be loyal by cheating. Double standards suck sometimes but that’s life.00 Reply

+1 yOf course.
If he still flirts after he's in a relationship, then no. That's not loyalty. If he's broken up, heartbroken, someone's fuck buddy — hell yeah he's flirting with any girl with slightest chance.30 Reply
+1 yYes. If he makes sexual advances on the woman whom he is flirting with then he isn't loyal at all

+1 yI personally feel that flirting with others while in a relationship is disrespectful of the relationship, regardless of what the intentions are. I think it's usually not a good sign.

+1 yFlirting for some is just normal and it’s harmless, it’s not always about sex.
There is a huge difference between hitting on and flirting.
If I go in to a restaurant and waitress is serving us, I will flirt BUT it’s being nice pleasant, it is not hitting on her.
Flirting is VERY subtle.
if I am after discount I will also flirt with whoever is the sales person. I want a discount so I will try and manoeuvre them.
Now, if it becomes sexual and hitting on, that’s a different matter.11 Reply- +1 y
Yeah, flirting can indeed be quite subtle. Sometimes it's pretty close to just being friendly, or trying to be lively and have fun. Flirting doesn't have to be sexual. Like teasing is one way to flirt, and it can just be a friendly tease.
+1 yThis is a tough one because if the guy is as clueless as I am, he may be flirting and not even know that's what he's doing. I used to be accused of flirting, but I am just chatty for a man. Well, I am chatty when it's beyond small talk, not a fan of small talk, anyway... So it' depends. Is he just clueless like me and thinks what others may call flirting is normal interaction, or is this like deliberately flirtatious behavior?
To be honest, unless someone is being cheesy, I can't tell. I have no game. If I find you interesting I will talk to you and if I don't I won't. I don't case people, like some other dudes do. I am not trying to keep score or looking to be DTF. Some people are really good at it. But I can't compartmentalize like they can. I can't bang a chick just because she is willing.00 ReplyAsk yourself.
Is this ok, is it gonna work.
If not. be honest with yourself and move on without that person.
If he now are one of those that are perceived as flirtatious even that he aren't you need to tell him and that it makes you insecure about the relationship you two have due to how he are perceived. that you are afraid of losing him to someone else because you think you doesn't have everything he is after even if you actually have.
Just don't try to make him change or let him change because of that.
Only that you need help to get over it to become more secure within yourself.
When it comes to it we doesn't own our partner and must accept the whole package to make it work.00 Reply
+1 yComparing both the sides if we analyse it carefully then a conventional flirt can easily be judged but flirt that girls do lets say staring at a guy or making moves is still a flirt and can have more adverse consequences to the relationship than a guys's flirt. SO flirt parameters have to be chalked out that is first. And yes he can remain loyal bcoz overtime he would get bored of flirting too and then that guy will be the most loyal on earth so if u judge prematurely like the girls in the comment then they have lost a precious stone.

+1 yWhat counts as flirting? Im married and i feel like I can carry myself in conversation with other women much easier than when i was single. Some women interpret this as flirting and I receive awkward and nervous approaches from many women. Some ask for my phone number, so its funny when i give them my wife's number. My wife laughs about it. Because she's confident she's #1

+1 yIt comes down to how you define "flirt." If you are talking about casual joking, dismissal, mock-flirting, etc, when it's obvious they're not actually interested in pursuit of another, then that's one thing.
If it gets to the point of overtly hitting on someone else, that's cheating in the heart. Encourage them to quit, before it becomes physical cheating. It can happen really fast.00 ReplyAbsolutely yes, a man flirting with others doesn't means that he wanna have sx with others, it entirely depends on the his intention and the nature of the guy. Some guy flirts just to tease her make her smile or just to make her realise that she is also a special woman, guys love to have. But most of the women doesn't like if her boyfriend flirts with others n also women's shouldn't like that it feels very jealousy to see ur boyfriend/girlfriend flirting with others. Therefore its better to flirt with ur own girlfriend/boyfriend instead of flirting with others. 😊
00 ReplyFlirting with other girls didn't give a certificate that man is not loyal... wid you.. See it's so simple that every people in this earth is different so as there... behaviour. So if we are going to weigh all in one Weigh scale... then of course it will create disaster...
00 ReplyYes 100% I mean this life's all about you should just be yourself and be happy but when you when you're with somebody you were with them 100% to be honest with you I come on here and I would love to flirt with somebody and it's the same time if I meet somebody then all that stops we all say hi and still be myself but I like also treating people the way that I want to be treated

+1 yAbsolutely. The reason being is a guy generally don't see it as flirting, he's just talking to any girl to be friendly.
In fact, if you want try out this experiment next time your guy does it. Instead of being mad at him ask him what the girl looked like, what colour eyes she had etc. I will give you 100/1 odds he wouldn't be able to tell you.02 Reply- +1 y
Ya but guys don’t usually notice when their woman gets her hair done so bad example.
- +1 y
@VanillaSalt Wait... women have their hair done?:O Oh no, no wonder I'm always in the dog house!
Talking about it in the relationship and putting boundaries is important. I personally have a flirty personality, and I usually don't realize it, so I need to talk with my s/o to make sure things are right. But going further to cheating? Completly stupid, doesn't make sense.
00 ReplyHe's not dating anyone. He just flirting than yea theirs no reason why he wouldn't be loyal. Most guys flirt either when their bored or trying to get in a relationship. I flirt for the fun of it, otherwise I be loyal to my girlfriend cause more than likely we flirt like crazy anyway.
10 Reply1.3K opinions shared on Flirting topic. I knew a guy who claimed he never cheated on his wife, but he loved talking to women and would chat up girls anywhere. No shit, if we went to a sit-down restaurant he would ask if we could sit where we would be served by a waitress instead of a waiter.
00 ReplyYah.. however every man has a number.
Meaning if they didn’t play around with girls in their past they will always want to find girls to sleep with.
That’s why most attractive young girls go for older men.
As they’re not horn dogs (not always of course)
Of a man hit his number he wouldn’t care about sleeping around anymore.
And the filtering would be such as him knowing his able to fish (his hunting skills)
And that’s it02 Reply- +1 y
I disagree. Just give me one and I'm good, man.
- +1 y
anytime someone makes the “I” argument they have no clue what they’re talking about.
Let’s assume you’re being honest?
What skills do you have to get a girl number two are you fit or are you not number three how much risks are you willing to take to get that really one girl that you really want on top of that did you have girls on the pass or not the problem with men is 90% of them lie when it comes to girls this macho behavior between men is what forces men to lie to one another.
Either way you could be an exception to the rule even if you’re being honest.
That is not the definition of loyal... You cannot be loyal and then flirt with other girls. When someone is loyal, they only think about the one they love. They save the flirting/compliments for the one they love 🌸

+1 ySome are just horny. Typical daily thing. Jerk them off more often and they’ll be loyal to you. If I would be a girl I would jerk them off first thing in the morning so they won’t feel like looking for adventures. Then repeat in the evening ;)
00 Reply"Flirts" is probably the wrong word. Some guys are open and friendly with everyone, others try and make their girl jealous, yet others go for the drama.
But it' down to you as well in how he reacts around you,.00 Reply- 673 opinions shared on Flirting topic.
+1 yCheating has nothing to do with flirting. One is flirting, the other is fucking. What is surprising is you not knowing the difference, which leads us to believe you're not fucking your guy, so he's getting it elsewhere.

Hmmm... well, sounds like a timing thing. Based on this, I would encourage you to be patient. You've actually found a guy worth his salt trying is damnedest to BE someone and GO somewhere. Assess if he's really a catch. And if he is, treat his as such. Back off, let him know how much you adore and respect him, how much you want him, and he'll respond in kind. I GUARANTEE IT.
I'm a very flirty guy, I have been since I was young. But it comes with it's downfalls, as I do see myself as being able to stay super loyal. I don't get into relationships because I don't wanna hurt the other person. Although I do think it IS possible to be flirty and loyal, I don't think I can be.
00 ReplyLoyal in practice, yes. But loyal in heart, nope. If a man in a relationship still wants to flirt, it means his lady will never truly be enough for him to be satisfied.

10 ReplyYes, it's very possible. Flirting doesn't necessarily mean he's interested. It could just mean he wants to know who might be interested in him.
Never underestimate humans need for validation.00 ReplyYes, it can be all of those that you mentioned. It can also go the other way, some will take flirting to the next level and turn it into something more
00 ReplyI could be loyal while banging an other girl. Impossible is just an excuse of the weak!
00 ReplyYes they can I would only worry if it's very out of character for him
