I feel like our text conversations are boring...any tips?

I recently started talking to this guy and we text every couple days. The problem is the conversation always starts as what did you do today and how are you and doesn't really move past that. I don't know how to make a smooth change from that to talking about anything else. I don't know if he's bored with our conversations, but I sure am so... Lol any tips on how to make conversations and texts themselves more interesting? Thank you!

Ps please don't say call him or something because for certain reasons I'm not gonna go into, I can't lol (and no ts not because I'm scared haha)

Oh my god the same thing was happening to me but I fixed it yesterday. This is how the convo wen't. I think he understood what I meant and wasn't to offended ;P

he kept asking me : So... What's up? periodicly throughout the day and then his next question would be : so what's good? and that's just different ways of saying the same thing to me so I just said

ME : still nothing ha ha why do you always ask the same thing over and over different ways?

HIM : lol I don't know I guess to try and keep the convo going

ME : but asking the same thing just kinda makes it boring...

HIM : I'm sorry

ME : it's nbd ha ha just giving you a heads up ;P

My guess is he probably likes you and is a little shy about talking to you. This guy every time he says hi it's not just hey =) its "Hey cutie ;) " Every time. it was cute at first but now it's annoying so that's how I know. Good luck and just let him know! =)

And guys have short attention spans so help keep it interesting if he can''t himself say random things like "Oh my gosh, look at the sky! It's so pretty today isn't it?" Or you can always get a little flirty and be like "oh my gosh, It's so cold." and he'll probably be like, Maybe I should come over and warm you up a bit ;) Or at least that's what the guy I like says mine is my neighbor though. or another would be "Wow, this thunderstorm is so scary!" and he'll say aw maybe I should come hold u

Aww that's really cute! I've always answered and been like- hbu?and then he changes the subject back to my life lol. Id rather talk about him and he wants to hear about me I guess lol. I'll try somthing more random that has more of a chance to start a convo.

Hey, you could just ask him if he wants to play 21 questions, would you rather, or truth or dare. That normally works.
