How to tell if a waiter fancies you?

I have started talking to a waiter and after his shift he came down to talk to me. We talked for a few mins and then my sister called and I had to leave to meet her as she was my ride. He asked for my IG and I gave it to him. Can this go anywhere or does he just want to be friends?

I would say he fancies you already because he gave you his Instagram and also talked to you after his shift. I am a restaurant server and we typically run for our lives when our shift is over to avoid convo with people/customers, so with that being said he sounds interested

Omg I had a guy customer literally try to talk to me for 2 hours straight, then I had to run and hide when I was leaving because if I didn’t , he would continue trying to talk to me.

He does talk to all the female waitresses. I wouldn’t say he necessarily fancied me, but his need to converse for that long was actually a literal nightmare especially when I have other customers to care for
