Does the waiter like me or is he just being nice?

I go to this restaurant a couple times a week to eat get coffee by myself. I think that the waiter is a babe so I have been flirting with him for the last couple of weeks. I am not sure if he is into me or not, but there are some signs. I want to know if he is interested or not. Some things that he does: always greets me by my name and smiles, leans in to talk to me, fixes his hair a lot, and he looks over in my direction a lot. Does he just do this because he wants a good tip? If he is into me then how do I advance it to the next level, either by getting him to ask me out or me asking him out. Thank you.

I am a regular and he gets shy around me, but is very talkative with other patrons. Also, he makes sure he says good bye to me when he is busy. Also, when it is not busy he walks by a lot.

He's just being nice.

Next time you go there try, subtly, to watch how he behaves towards other customers. I'm sure you'll notice he does pretty much the same with regulars like yourself.

If you go there every week, are nice to him and give a good tip, he'll consider you a good customer, so obviously he'll greet you by your name, talk to you and will try to be aware of your needs during your time there (that's why he's looking your direction a lot).

Don't try anything, just enjoy the attention.
