I like weird but funny convo starters. Those types of convo starters usually give me a postive feeling about the guy, especially if I'm good friends with the kid. Like my friend when we texted, he always said something funny. Like one time he was like " ...don't look behind you (:". That just created a more comfortable atmosphere for me because when somone says hey..im just "oh hey" "what's up" "nm" "oh yea same too" (end) ...so also if he knows how to keep an interesting convo that's good
I don't think I received a worse one
I do get annoyed sometimes when someone texts: "hey cutie(;" but that's only because I'm not really a flirty person. I like calm cool fun text convos.

"hey, how are you?" always works for me. also compliments as well. you can never go wrong with those.
the worst one that someone used on me was one of the horrible cheesy pick up lines. It was something like, "Do you know karate? ‘Cause your body is really kickin’." I hated that.
The other day a guy walked past me and said "w-b-u". I had to stop and think what was he trying to say and then I laughed. He said "Your laugh is beautiful". It turned out to be a great conversation.
Yo what's good?
what's poppin son?
what it is?
Yea brah?
i don't advise you use any of those with girls

I've always liked the phrase "What's cookin' good lookin'?" :)
It's a classic and never gets old (for me that is).
And hey, it always gets me smiling :)The two worse: "hey sexy" and "watsup".
Some good ones: "I was just thinking about you", "I missed you today", "Are you alive" and "(blank) (blank) made me think of you"whats cookin good lookin or use a different language and catch her attention like aloha hola, etc or guess what? then she says what and you say no idea, I just wanted to talk ;)
I like it when a guy says "Hey how's it going?" because then you can just elaborate a conversation based on what she says. Plus it's more classy than just saying "sup." That's probably my least favorite way to start a convo, unless I actually know the person and I'm not trying to get to know them. Does this make sense?
