As a store manager, what would you do in these (2) situations?

First Question: You're a store manager. And whether in-person or on surveillance camera, you notice one of your male customers fraternizing, or at least attempting to fraternize, with a female cashier: whether by always complimenting her, asking her questions, asking her out, asking her out for coffee, asking her to exchange phone numbers, shopping at your store at least once a week only going to her register to pay, or other things to gain her interest if any. You notice that it's gone on throughout the month. What would you say to the male customer?

Second Question: You find out that you're female cashier accepts the male customer's interested and goes out with him, despite the fact that you may have an anti-fraternization policy for the good of the company. What would you say to the female cashier?

1. I won't say anything to the male customer. Firstly, the female cashier is attractive to him and that might be the only reason that he comes to your store to consum and brings you business. Secondly, it's sort of like a selling point as an attractive female cashier. Just like the model for carselling, although the model add no value to the car but they can impulse the male customer consum.
2 Cashier are also human, they are not robot same as the customers, it's not like one pay one take money then the one can fuck off. Of course there would be emotion contaction happen. I won't use anti-fraternization policy to restrict her. Because it's too cold blood and unkind, expecually cashier is a quiet boring and low paied job. But I would kindly remind the female cashier, say, I knew what was happened between you and that customer, it's absolutely fine if you want to date him or not, it's your decision as long as you could bring the issue to your private life and don't let it influence your working process I'm absolutely fine with it, I wish you happy life. Don't give her pressure, she will get your point.

I've never heard of a store policy that prohibits a cashier from dating a customer.

A consultant or salesperson, maybe. But a cashier? That's strange.

I would definitely gauge her interest. If she's comfortable, then I'd leave it alone. I would only say something if she wanted me to.

First Question - Is he actually spending money on every occasion or coming in only to talk to her? Has she raised any concerns to Mgmt about it? If so, what?

Second Question - How did you find out? Did it cause any undue hardship to the company? If so, what?

You’re fired‼️ but I will keep the cashier who brings customers into Business.
