How would you deal with a co-worker of the same sex becoming your manager?

I was kinda putt off by how she just came in today saw me and said hello then immediately told me what to do. She had not introduced herself as the new boss. I had to find out later when the higher boss told us all together.

Im so tired of this workplace. Its so ghetto and people are so selfish they dont care about anyone but themselves and it shows.
