My crush is a shy guy. How do I know if he likes me back and does he?

We have no communication but we are always somewhat close to eachother (sitting next to me, staring, waiting for me, etc...). I added him but he didn't add me back, next thing I know his friends laughed at me (not in a mean way). He's the type to not cause any drama and is always quiet. I just wanna be friends with him first.

Like he can talk and talk but when he sees you he becomes silent or say he just... make sure that he speaks less. Is that a scenario?

When he's with me he doesn't say anything even though he looks like he wants to. If he's with his friends (all guys) he's always the silent one but he does talk.

I think he likes you , but he is an introvert guy , so basically he don't know how to speaks in front of you or what to speaks. Coz when we like someone we become so conscious around coz we don't want to create a bad impression in front of them.
